Success-Makers Use Flex-Power or Tips on How to Recover after Being Kicked in the Teeth - http://ping.fm/8K7Oi

Our July Success Newsletter was sent out to the SuCCess Posse! Here it is if you missed it! Enjoy!!
The SuCCess Newsletter
Hello, Posse Partners!
Lessons come to us from all different types of sources, as I was reminded through a great lesson in June ...
Something of major importance came up and I had to pull out my Flex-Power and rearrange things a bit. I also had to ask for patience and help from friends and family. All the things that we sometimes dislike doing but need to do. In fact, you will notice that is the topic this month - Flex-Power and Changes on the Fly. We teach our horses to do that and we can develop this skill as well - but more about that later.
Another amazing process continues to take place, (besides the other major June event which is turning out to be an outstanding success), in spite of the world events around it. The garden has gone completely nuts and is growing like crazy. It is a sight to see! And a demanding master! Chewie has taken to being my weeding buddy by squeezing between the fence and the wheelbarrow, partaking of it's shade and out of reach of that pesky Pomeranian. She also likes hanging out under the huge squash leaves. The garden is producing cucumbers, lettuce, beans and peas already and the tomatoes are just beginning to ripen! The Dodo is proud to fly with such abundance! Plenty to eat and give away with enough left over for the woodland characters.
An additional process is continuing as well. Anne (CVA Extraordinaire) and Rebecca (Wonderful Web-Mistress) have been working diligently even when I haven't been able to - and the LovePetz web site is new and improved, a LovePetz newsletter is in development (so feel free to opt-in to become a Pet Peep to receive discounts as well), the first part of a three part coaching workshop/teleseminar is almost ready to launch (another option for you) and Rusty n'Nikki - Doggie Lessons in Life and Love is going through the final edits and will go to print shortly, with an official release date of January 2011 and pre-sales being offered starting next month (July). So with so many projects happening and a major transition event popping up in the middle of things, Flex-Power became critical.
Flex Power is a fantastic skill to have to be able to jump over, dig under, or side step when challenges suddenly arise. Using Flex-Power enabled me to rework my schedule to bring you our Posse RoundUp (Newsletter) as I had originally envisioned it - at the end of the prior month ... So if you have not already noticed, THIS is our July edition. Read more about Flex-Power in this issue... And thank you for taking the ride with us. Together we can accommplish great things!
See you on down the Trail!

Fallin' Off Can Hurt - But You Must Jump Back in the Saddle...or Transition Tenacity with Tenderness
Things happen. We all know this. Situations and circumstances can change in the blink of an eye or the buck of our horse. It can sure hurt when we land on our backsides with the wind knocked out of us. Sometimes we are the catalyst of the change because it is a change we want to make. But a lot of the times the change comes out of nowhere and we are caught flat-footed and unprepared. Those types of changes can make circumstances crazy and we may have to learn some life lessons by "bath of fire" method. Not fun certainly, but quick, painful, and never to be forgotten.
Whatever the catalyst may be - whether the event was planned by you or forced on you by other sources - whether the event seems to be "good" or "bad" - you may be left in the same state of being ...

Crisis? Crossroads? What to Do When You Get Stopped in Your Tracks!
Rising early each morning, throwing on your duds, walking to the barn, greeting your favorite horse as he softly nickers to you, smelling the wonderful aroma of sweet feed as you scoop out the morning rations, feeling a few gentle pokes of the hay locks as you balance them carefully with the grain to throw over to your trusty friend, Sugarfoot, listening to the happy munching from Sugar as you fill a bucket with fresh cool water, laughing as Sugs flips his lips around in the water before he plunges his muzzle in for a deep satisfying drink, watching him flip his tail and kick up his heels as he is freed from his stall and let out to play in the pasture for the day. Happy sigh.
We tend to have routines that we do everyday to be more successful and productive in our lives. Whether it is getting up at the crack of dawn to feed, water and let out the horses or rising to make coffee and getting into your office to write, the routines become ingrained and automatic. We become comfortable and dependent on them. These routines are usually developed over a long time and work best for us. It may have come from that hard fought battle between that "good-for-you" little angel on one shoulder and that rebellious little devil on your other shoulder. You know you really want to get up to start your day, but you really want to turn over and go back to sleep. Once mastered, we tend to actually fall in love with our routines.
So what happens when we get "Tail Tossed"? (Picture Sugarfoot tossing his tail and bucking you off his back to land on YOUR tail.) ...

Where are you now?
Where do you want to be?
It takes time to evolve into the person we want to be, even if we believe we can do it (let alone if we are unsure - which puts us in the majority). It takes a concerted, consistent effort to move through the steps toward our goals. Or maybe the vision is unclear - something nags at us that there is more that we want to do - but what? And if we know the What, then How do we get there? Who will respect our dreams, support our goals and work toward helping us fulfill our desires? Who will focus on our agenda instead of driving toward their own? That is the purpose of having your own coach. Your coach's mission is to respect, support and move you forward toward the very vision that you seek.

You Do Not Have to Conquer the Doubt Demons, Fear Fences and Paralyzing Plateaus Alone…Even the Lone Ranger had his Side-Kick, Tonto
Ever feel happiness and hope after making the decision to make a change, transition or re-creation – only to fall back into the quicksand of your situation?
Do you ever find yourself fired up after a seminar or conference – only to lose all hope and drive after just a few days later?
Doubt Demons and Fear Fences seem to just wait to spring up as we summons the courage to make a major decision or change in our lives. To admit our true feelings – to realize our real purpose, which is key to happiness and success – only to feel thwarted by the insecurities that surface – can be emotionally and physically paralyzing.
Ever feel as if you really are trying to move forward but feel stuck? Don’t you find that it is when we feel stuck that the real fear and doubt seem to move into our heads and take up shop?
Ever feel as if you are so weak or overwhelmed that you imagine your dreams swirling around the sink – slipping down the drain?
Beginning a journey is not the only time Doubt and Fear can try to block our path. Along our ride toward our dreams and desires, it is natural to hit a plateau. This plateau may be misinterpreted to mean we are done with our journey – as far as we can hope to go – nothing more to do but what we are currently doing – and IT has stopped working! Our forward movement can become paralyzed. This plateau may cause some people to become doubtful or fearful of ever attaining the desired success. Many people tend to give up at this point in the ride but that is like stopping a project one step short of success. It is similar to giving up just before hitting that vein of gold.
The pressure we may feel from the doubt demons in our head and the other less than encouraging people around us assist our fears to throw up seemingly insurmountable fences. It can feel overwhelming to fight. But face it and fight through it we must.
Ever wake up and want to go back to sleep because you didn’t want to face the day?
Ever utter a positive affirmation – only to feel your stomach seize up and hear doubt demons start snarking in your head?
Sometimes it feels as if we are fighting ourselves – the whole world or both. So do not consider quitting – you may be just getting to the really good stuff! But realize that a fence or plateau is actually an opportunity for growth. It is a fear fence that challenges us to stretch and conquer and the paralyzing plateau that indicates the time in which we need to take a breather, evaluate and rededicate.
Our Success depends on how we manage these doubts, fears and plateaus!
Ever wonder in frustration – How can I ever get through all the challenges? How can I succeed?
Enlist SUPPORT! Support is the strong backbone that gives us added strength when we need it. And everyone needs support at times. Asking for support is NOT a sign or weakness.
Loved ones and friends? The unfortunate truth is that in most cases, our loved ones and friends unintentionally- or maybe intentionally – accentuate these negative feelings. These people likely love you and don’t want to see you hurt or disappointed. It is possible that some people in your environment may be jealous and rather not see you succeed. These people may be made to feel worse about their own lack of ambition or courage. It is easier for the folks around us to accept the same old person we’ve always been.
Support Groups? Support groups can be helpful but many are not. Sometimes the group will feed on their doubts, fears as well as lament about their plateaus – thus creating more fear and doubt. The participants in a support group are there for their own challenges – not necessarily to focus on and support YOU.
Seminars and Conferences? Seminars and conferences are fantastic! They are great tools for new ideas and networking. They can even give you a boost in energy and rededication. The only downside is that the boost does not regenerate forever. Consistent – continuous support is needed for major lasting change.
So how do we face the scary challenge and move forward?
Find YOUR Side-Kick. The Lone Ranger had Tonto – Batman had Robin – Even Tiger Woods turns to his Caddy.
Your Coach is your Side Kick for Success!! Focused Unconditional Support is why having your own coach can be crucial for your journey. Your coach’s mission is to listen, respect, support and move you forward toward the very goals that you seek. Our sole focus is YOU! We are here to help you successfully conquer those doubt demons, fear fences and paralyzing plateaus. We’ll saddle up and ride along with you every step of the way! Yee Haa!
